Library Rules

1. MEMBERSHIP: All students (Class I to XII), teachers& non-teaching staff of the school. 2. BORROWING BOOKS: Books will be loaned for a period of 15 days. Books may be Re-issued after the loan period of 15 days, if their is no call for it,at the discretion of the librarian. The Librarian can recall any books on loan, if it is required in the library urgently, even if it is not due to be returned. Reference books not to be issued on loan. Library books are to be deposited at last one week before leaving the station or before any vacation. ‘No Dues Certificate’ for each student is to be obtained from the librarian wile withdrawing any student from the school. A student from class VI to XII can issue only two book at a time. FINE (LOSS OR DAMAGE): A fine @ 5/- per dayp er book will be levied for delay in return. A member will be charged Two (2)times the original cost of books/periodicals which are lost/damaged. DISCIPLINE: All Readers are required to observe discipline in the library. All Readers should observe complete Silence in the library. Books / Periodicals will not be underlined or marked. Umbrellas, Bags, Box etc. should be kept out side theLibrary. Reference book, Magazines /Periodicals are to be read in the Reading section only. No students will remain in the Library during teaching periods.
